Classes

Our classes are colour coded rather than levels, this is a new way of thinking for us, as it gives us the ability to put our dancers in control of their dancing goals.
We teach each class based on what they wish to achieve & ability, rather than for the amount of time they have danced.
All classes will get new choreography to fit with the style of class. We encourage you to think carefully about what you want from your dancing and we can advise which class we feel is best for you!
If classes aren’t for you, why not give private lessons a try? The perfect way to learn at your own pace, improve quickly, achieve goals and dance the dances you want to

For children’s dancing, please see our Monarchy page

Ballroom & Latin Practice Sessions :

We have two weekly practice sessions open to all dancers of any ability. Help is on hand if you’re struggling or need advice; the best way to get those steps in order.

Sequence :

Sequence dancing is based on the ballroom and latin dances, but set 16 bars of choreography. Each routine is different and there are lots to learn. Our classes are split into levels, beginners, improvers and intermediates, with a mix of both popular and modern routines.

To keep up to date with all things sequence, please find our Facebook page: @sequenceatthecrown

Latin In Line :

Especially designed for dancers without a partner! These classes are great for exercise, socialising and of course lot’s of dancing! All the very best latin dances for you to enjoy!

Workshops :
Our weekly workshops cover lots of different topics, including new dances we don’t have on our regular timetable, technique, new choreography, exam practice and much more!

We also welcome guest teachers to the ballroom to bring their expertise and knowledge for our dancers.
